Hirschfeld Properties LLC Announces Its Lease With Fred Astaire Dance Studios

NEW YORK, November 6, 2009 – Elie Hirschfeld of Hirschfeld Properties, LLC announces their lease partnership with Fred Astaire Dance Studios. Located at 328 East 61st Street, the 3,000 square foot property was built to include a new, state-of-the-art wood dance floor built over foam construction to cushion impact for dancers and buffer sound below. For the past 60 years, the studio, which is part of an International Franchise based on the original teaching methods of Fred Astaire, has instructed patrons in a variety of ballroom styles including the Cha-cha, Fox Trot, Mambo, Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Merengue, Samba, Quickstep, Swing and many more.

“We look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with Elie Hirschfeld in creating “The Place” to dance on the Upper East Side,” said Marina Tarsinov, owner of the East Side Fred Astaire Dance Studio. “Whether it is for fitness, for hobby, or for that memorable first dance at a wedding, we are now able to enrich even more lives with the art of dance.”
